Such a gem of a park! I take my daughter here weekly; it’s our favorite spot for a walk. The play area is great, the ducks are a huge hit, and the whole environment feels very safe and clean. The lake is particularly well-maintained compared to other local parks. Highly recommend for a breezy afternoon outdoors!

Aberford Park truly exceeded my expectations as a solo traveler exploring with my dog. The park is spacious and beautifully landscaped, offering a great mix of open fields and shaded areas perfect for walking or simply relaxing on a bench. My dog had plenty of space to run and play, and I noticed several other dog owners enjoying the friendly atmosphere. The walking paths are well-maintained, and there are plenty of bins, which helps keep the area clean. I felt very safe and comfortable here, making it an ideal spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and meet other pet owners. Highly recommended for solo adventurers and anyone with pets!

The council are improving this park every year. I've lived in this town for a long time and have seen people tending the park frequently. They have done a huge renovation on the park equipments and more families seem to go to the park now. I enjoy having runs in the park as the paths are very wide to not get into other people's way. It is definately much safer than in the past.
