Wonderful place to walk with lots to see for children and adults. Lots of volunteers were tending to the various gardens and were very friendly and welcoming. Good at any time of the day to explore morning or afternoon or early evening.

This was a lovely little stop, there has clearly been a lot of time and care put into it. The gardens are very pretty, as is the bridge over the wetland and the short forestry walk. There is a free car park at the end of the road, signposted, or disabled parking right outside the entrance.

Well worth the visit.. free entry, just a donation for parking.. we did the wetlands then the glen walk that's joined on... Plenty to see here, wander and enjoy the sights.. big birds nest, Hogwarts, gruffalo, hungry caterpiller, Chinese garden and a big painted pebble snake that winds around part of the garden.. The hide over the water was good, saw plenty of pondlife.. wildlife areas dotted around, picnic tables and seating are available for a nice rest and listen to the bird song... A sensory area/outdoor classroom is a good idea...The Glen is along winding wooded walk that seems to lead to nowhere, some places are tricky,,at the end steep steps lead on to a road, so we turned and returned the same way...

What a fabulous place. We took the girls today and they absolutely loved it. Some many hidden little bits. Lots of characters within the forest . Just brilliant 👏. Peaceful walk too and dog friendly 😀 with toilets and picnic area and plenty of parking.

A lovely walk with the dogs around pretty gardens which are all looked after by volunteers. One was building a huge birds nest that could fit a group of 6 people in. There are benches dotted around and we found a nice table and chairs to have a picnic on. We were going to do the full walk but wasn't sure how far it was so would be good to have some information on that at the start and include what the terrain is like. We did some of it but decided to turn back as it was very muddy. The circular walk is nice and firm under food though and plenty of places to watch the wildlife. A really nice place and will visit again.
