Way too pricey for what it is. Tiny (around 5 meters) and not that informative. Staff was nice, though.

A fabulous, if small, museum depicting the history of the stone circle and the surrounding area. It's well laid out, and the content is easy to read. Having spent a few days exploring the historic sites of this area it helped to further enhance my understanding of the past. Definitely worth a visit and, if you're a member of English Heritage, it's free to enter

Very small musuem,basically one room. Not worth the ticket but I am English heritage member so I had a stroll.

Can't call it a museum. It was a small exposition and not worth it if you have to pay for it. We had a national trust overseas pass, so therefore free of charge. Gardens were reasonable, but also for those to visit you have to pay separately if not have a national trust membership. Even had a discussion with the person who sells the ticket, because he stated that I had to pay for parking. I new that with the overseas pass parking is included. He said with not a nice tone, that's only for yearly membership. I wouldn't give me the tickets for museum and garden! So I looked it up and showed him the mail and then he said, angry; here you have your tickets and looked at me if I had done something wrong. Not the way other staff acts towards guests. We could not visit house because it was closed. A lot of national trust houses are closed at this time...a pity

Great little museum, good information on the area, Free for national trust members, otherwise you must pay, they even let the dog come in which was great.
