Had never heard of this place. Over 2.5 hrs away from where we live in South Wales but well worth a visit if you've got young kids. We took our 6 year old granddaughter and she loved it. Plenty to do and see. Took us ages to find the indoor sandpit but found it during g the last hour of opening and she didn't want to come from there. Plenty of small animals to see. A walk through with the Lemurs was a bit of a bust as they wouldn't come out to play. The Fenic Fox was beautiful. I would definitely say it was aimed more for under 10 age group. Has a nice little park and indoor play areas. The dinosaurs were amazing

Absolutely amazing place. Dinosaur walk is very impressive. Animals are easy to see and all look very happy. Park is mostly outside so make sure weather is okay. Food offerings are lovely if a little basic. Really good value for what it offers!

The zoo is really nice. It is probably best for under 10 year olds. You can spend here about 4-5hours or longer. There are lovely unique animals here, you do not get to see often. There have small playgrounds, crazy golf, nice walks and displays. The place is very clean. They have a few hot options for food like chips, pizzas, jacket potatoes. The capybara experience was very enjoyable. You get to sit with 3 capybaras and feed them, they are very clam and friendly and you can pet them.

Really enjoyed going here. Wide variety of things to look at including traditional small animals for kids interaction. More unusual animals as well such as the Porcupines to look at. Lots of dinosaur focused interests. Two level Dino barn was a popular find with the kids. The Dino train goes around a well laid out track with big Dino’s to look at. Other intriguing features such as a retired Digger and Helicopter 🚁 Big area of open space with zipline, mini golf, tug of war. The site as a whole is big so it’s easily a full day there, plenty of bang for your buck. There is a decent soft play next to the cafe which went up to a good height. Food was quick and good with friendly staff all around the park and cafe. Structured activities running throughout the day. Kids loved it - Will be coming back soon!

Super impressed by this place on an impromptu visit whilst staying locally in the area. The prices are really reasonable and there is sooo much to do here for a wide variety of ages! It's deceptively big and has lots to do and look at that isn't just animal enclosures. It was fab to walk around with a toddler, there lots of different parks/play areas, more than one soft play ( a lovely one too!), an indoor sand pit/beach, variety of animals lots I havent seen before at other animal parks or zoos (porcupines, bush dogs and beavers were a fav ive never actually seen in person!), there is a huge dinosaur area with a train, outdoor play and mud kitchens etc the list goes on and at no point were we expected to pay extra to participate in something unlike most other places you go with kids. Cafe was reasonably priced and though the menu was small and basic it was good quality and a good portion. Absolutely would recommend and we plan to visit again despite living 2 hours away - a lovely day trip!
