Fabulous wood accessible through Almondell country park. Remember where you parked as it can be confusing where you actually are. There is much vegetation and growth with just some narrow foot. trails. Keep to the signs and the paths as off piste can become frighteningly scary. Calderwood links like a corridor to livingston. Where you can walk across livingston without crossing a road. It’s fab for walkers. Calderwood is off the beaten path so be mindful. Really enjoyed the long walk as did the dogs. Plenty of deer and lots of siskins
