Always good... we weren't sure if the time slots would be long enough but they were. I was definitely ready to get out... completely knackered... it could have been kept a little more cleaner. Changing rooms weren't all that clean.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Alton Towers Resort! From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized, clean, and full of positive energy. The atmosphere is incredible for both adults and children — so many attractions, beautiful areas to relax, and plenty of activities for the whole family. The water attractions were definitely one of our favourite parts, especially on a sunny day! ☀️🌊 The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort was very well maintained, and there was always something exciting to do. It’s the perfect place to create unforgettable family memories, whether you’re looking for adventure, fun, or simply a joyful day out together. Highly recommend for families, couples, and anyone wanting a fun escape from daily routine. We will definitely come back again! 🎢✨

Visited with two children (9 and 6). This was their first ever waterpark experience and they had an absolute blast. We went for the 10am entry and barely queued for the master blaster at that time, we had several goes on rush and rampage also before the queues started. Even a little later into our session we only waited 20 minutes for master blaster, which I didn't think was so bad. Every lifeguard we spoke to was super polite and happy to help. Fantastic experience for the whole family!

We recently took our two boys (ages 6 and 15) for our first visit to Splash Landings Waterpark at Alton Towers, and it was a fantastic way to escape the British weather for a few hours. We pre-booked and paid £96 for a family of four (two adults, two children). We booked as part of a stay for a night, play for a year with a free annual pass but we booked the waterpark at the time that we booked the hotel. Had i have know that i could have booked later i would have booked after activating our annual pass and saved a significant amount. When we arrived the staff advised that it wasn't busy and that we didn't need to stick to the timeslot and could stay in up to 5pm which was great. The changing area was a family changing area and had plenty of cubicles for singles, couples and families however the locker system is outdated and require a 20p. In a world of contactless everything, we almost got caught out! Pack some change. The showers were hit or miss. Most were freezing cold, so you might have to test a few before you find a warm one to rinse off in. The Pools & Slides Lagoona Bay & Wacky Waterworks: A great starting point. The boys loved the treehouse, the water cannons, and the massive tipping bucket. Flash Floods (Outdoor): Even on a chilly rainy day, the water was kept very warm and we thoroughly enjoyed these slides. The Big Slides: It was a pleasant surprise to find that our 6 year old was tall enough to ride the larger slides the Master Blaster and Rush 'n' Rampage however if he had of been a little smaller, i think he would have got a little bored as there weren't many smaller slides. By mid-afternoon, we were thoroughly "pruned" and ready for a break, but we had a brilliant time.

We had a great experience when visiting recently. Staff were friendly and understanding of my son who had autism and went out of their way to make our day run smoothly. As a mum who is always anxious visiting places like this, this was much appreciated. Wait times for rides were minimal and were greatly enjoyed by all. We’ve rebooked to come again later in the year 😀
