Was disappointed with this marine resources centre, have been to many aquariums and this is definitely is the most expensive for value for money, there is not many information boards about the species that live there, I liked the layout for the below deck, however everywhere else seams like a warehouse with tanks… your ticket allows you weekly access but I don’t think it’s worth it. The biggest positive is the staff are actually really friendly and welcoming.

I have always wanted to come here and I’m so glad I ignored the negative reviews and came along. Please appreciate how expensive and difficult it is to run a business nowadays. Also the know how and dedication needed for running something like this in order to help educate people about our precious sea life! For the people who don’t like the algae, please put a pair of goggles on and look under the sea. Algae and sea weed are part of the story. I thought it was well worth a visit. Lovely friendly staff too ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Very small, and very quiet. Didn't find staff overly friendly.. apart from staff member on desk who took our payment, no member of staff interacted with us. I know that this is not necessarily their job but interaction with customers is what I've experienced at other similar sites. £24 for two adults and an under 1. We were really excited to go here, but in hindsight wish we hadn't. There is a great deal that you can go back every day within the week of buying your ticket, but both my wife and I agreed it was not with going back. Very little there but lobsters and jellyfish. Would say that arguably the best thing about the visit here was the drive. Beautiful views of the sea from the front gate. Given two star rather than one, as I can't make comment on the things we didn't use - the play area because it was cold outside, and the mini golf which looked closed whilst they did maintenance.

Hefty price for the experience if considering what was on offer from sea aquarium perspective. I felt, it had more varieties of lobster then fishes.. Overall still a good place if you are looking to have your kids spend few hours.. the kids play area is nice, cafe was good and the shopping collection was good. The aquarium itself is too small.. I think we covered all the sea aquarium within 30-40 mins.. rest of the time we spent in the kids play area only..

An honestly strange experience of which I have mixed feelings. Many of the reviews here have been extremely positive and from the outside there were no crazy warning signs. As some have pointed out, this is not an accessibility friendly venue and the adaptations are not properly implemented. There are many areas of uneven flooring or slippery surfaces. I wouldn't recommend it if you are in a wheelchair or have restricted mobility. From the start, everything inside is extremely dated and dirty. Most tanks had various levels of algae build up or generally looking a bit neglected. Whilst sometimes this did work in the favour of giving the impression of more natural tanks it mostly was just depressing. It was interesting to see an aquarium focused on the local Welsh sea life, and the displays regarding pollution and climate threats were interesting. We finished walking around rather quickly and couldn't believe when it finished that was all. The entry feels a little disproportionate to what's on offer. The gift shop is nice but we had to actively track someone down fo help us. Overall, a conflicting and odd experience I sadly cannot recommend
