They have a nice cafe, serving soft ice-cream and some cakes. Also public toilets are welcome.

Visited Ardingly Activity Centre near Ardingly Reservoir and had a really lovely time. It’s a great spot if you want to spend the day outdoors with family — you can rent kayaks or paddle boats and just enjoy the water in a really peaceful, natural setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s even a little café for drinks and snacks which makes it easy to spend a few hours here. Facilities are good too, with washrooms on site. Parking is right at the bottom of the hill near the centre — loads of spaces and it’s free, which is a big plus. On a sunny day it’s such a nice place to relax, paddle about, or just sit by the lake and take it all in. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!

Amazing place! We are a family and we had such a wonderful time there, the staff are very friendly and organised. We made the booking online in the same day and found availability! The kayak were in very good conditions. The price is very worth it for the quality time we spent! Paid £15 for single kayak and £20 for double for 1 hour! Very good.

Did Paddle Boarding here as a group activity; very affordable per person and really chill and friendly staff. Water was actually very refreshing after falling off into it, ahaha. Good bit of foot paths to walk about as well. Did a bit of walking afterwards. Very chill cafe on site as well. Bring your own food and have a picnic if you like really.

Well … if you want to have a walk half way and return to your car thats for you… if you want to walk round you will be disappointed! A lot of muddy areas today but still a good walk. Fishing- very few spots you can actually set up. After 4miles walk I’ve seen only 3 spots and far away from parking. Apparently a lot of nice pike is in the lake. Nothing to do much there - good for water sports I guess and walks if you like to return same way. No fishing from boats allowed. 😢
