. Nice rescue place. I did think it was slightly run down. The cafe wasn’t looking too nice nor was the kids indoor soft play. I have seen on review it was mouldy. We did not risk it as have asthmatic child and it did smell very musty. The dino cars are £2.50 a go, they didnt work only for about 5 seconds but we had to source refund externally which I think is quite bad. I think it has potential but it is expensive for what it is compared to other places. However I don’t begrudge paying it as I understand they have to keep the animals which is very expensive. The cafe is quite pricey for children’s lunch boxes especially given it was all Aldi multipack contents. Fake Pom bears, fake party rings and fake fruit shoot and a pack of raisins. Lady who was staff though was so lovely. Play area for kids was nice they had fun! And the dinosaur walk was small but sweet and had moving dinosaurs just a shame they haven’t been cleaned. Lots of places very grubby and as I said quite run down. Toilets not very pleasant and smelt quite bad. I wouldn’t change my baby in there. Lovely animals however. Artic foxes very sweet to watch. We dragged it out spent about 2.5 hours there including having lunch.

We were gifted an Artic Fox experience by our daughter and had a really great time. We arrived at Ark Wildlife Park early and enjoyed the time visiting all the other animals around the park. When the time came for our Experience, we were met by Cherry who led us to the ‘kitchen’ to fill the foraging bowls and then on to the fox enclosure. The family of beautiful artic foxes were very well behaved (“just don’t let them get behind you!”). We were given a tin of dog food and a spoon and took great delight feeding each fox. The hierarchy was apparent during feeding as they took their place and waited in turn, very gently taking the food from the spoon. Cherry was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and guided us through the whole experience. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic wildlife park! We had a great experience feeding the artic foxes with Chloe - really informative and so lovely to interact with this mob lead by mother Alaska. The park residents are mostly rescued animals who have now found their forever homes with the dedicated team at the park. Well worth a visit and the animal encounter experiences make for a perfect day.

I bought a voucher for the Meet & Greet the Red Foxes for Two experience for my wife's birthday, which included our entry into the wildlife park. We had an amazing day, arriving early to walk around the park and see all the animals before our experience. It was clear from walking around just how much all the staff and volunteers care about the park and the animals' welfare, and the on-site cafe was full of delicious food all homemade by the staff. The experience itself was wonderful. The staff member who guided us through it was very welcoming and knowledgeable and we got to meet silver fox Dexter and albino fox Lana. Although they're skittish about being petted, they were both very friendly and gentle eating out of the palm of our hands (literally!) and playful. Overall we had an excellent time.

I had the most wonderful experience with a meet and greet with the artic foxes family at Ark wildlife. We got to prep their food and treats and our guide Chloe was great in providing information and answering any questions we had about the foxes. We got up close with these lovely animals and even managed to feed them off a spoon. A lovely experience all round as we throughly enjoyed the rest of the park and the work they are doing.
