I've walked through it about a trillion times, nigh on every pathway too I'm sure. It houses (amongst other things) the popular but arguably horrific Shoe Tree plus Heaton Victoria Bowling Green. Don't forget there are three tennis courts (now available via an online booking system only), two basketball courts and a simple outdoor gym area. All are well maintained. Whilst I hate 'em: dogs are a definite favourite around the joint. If you attempt to walk through after dark it's potentially pitch black, like totally in places. I've never once felt unsafe however, using my phone torch where necessary!

A nice park with pristine environment. A network of walking tracks and is adjacent to tennis courts and a basketball court. Has some historical ruins, if you are a history buff. Just be ware of the cyclists sometimes you don't realise and they just come through.

Quite an interesting place. People tend to think of Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene and omit Armstrong Park, which would be a mistake. Very enjoyable to walk through and full of interesting surprises.

I've walked Rhubarb here almost every day for 4 years, I love it. It's one of the finest parks in the country.
