This was one of my favorite walks that was made unexpectedly eventful by a brushfire that made the news about an hour after I climbed down. There are multiple paths to climb down in various parts of Edinburgh, and you get fantastic panoramic views of the city from the top. It was relatively uncrowded even in late August.

A natural blessing for Edinburgh and its visitors! It's definitely worth spending a couple of hours or more hiking all the way to the summit (which is not difficult at all, especially in sunny weather). The breathtaking views make every effort worthwhile!

Great little hike in the middle of Edinburgh! The path can get quite steep depending on your route so be aware of that, but the views from the top are STUNNING! Good place for bird lovers too!

The views from this hike were incredible, and the trail itself was great. However, it was a bit crowded. If you’re not experienced in hiking up mountains or hills, be sure to bring a bottle of water and take some rest while you’re hiking. Despite the crowds, I definitely recommend this as a must-do activity while you’re in Edinburgh.

Climbing to Arthur's Seat was our very first activity after arriving in Edinburgh. After a long night of flying figured it was the perfect activity. The morning was nice and crisp and perfect weather for a hike. The path was slippery in spots. Good shoes recommended. It also had a pretty good incline. We got a good workout. Our legs were not too happy the rest of the day. But it was a beautiful hike up. And the views from the top so worth it. Pictures do not do it justice.
