We had such a lovely time at Ashlyn’s Softplay and Farm Park. It’s a brilliant place in a great location, and you can really see how well cared for all the animals are. Hayley, the zoo keeper, was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly really passionate about the animals. It was also lovely to hear that many of the exotic animals are rescues and have been given a safe home there. The range of animals is amazing and seems to be growing all the time. We saw everything from mountain lions and Patagonian maras to bear cats, which made the visit feel really special. We had a great day and would definitely recommend it. We’ll certainly be going back.

Great for the kids especially with all the animals and even better in the summer. Softplay does get packed so best to stay outside in the nice weather in the outside play areas.

The soft play was great for our age group. A lot of places we go the soft play is for older children and my 2 year old easily gets lost. Here everything is centered around the younger children and it was great to be able to have some good food and relax with a cup of tea whilst still being able to watch them play happily. The animal part was great! We loved being able to walk around the Wallaby part. So many play areas to choose from as you go as well. Will return. Downside was seating in the soft play was limited and the meals we ordered all came out at different times. I had finished mine before my husband got his. Not terrible though as the kids grazed and left.

The farm park admission is £3 each person - great value as there is a reasonable collection of animals, the most exotic was the zebra and some lovely little white top monkeys. A field of llama, alpaca, goats as well. The play area has a large multi function slide and climbing structure whilst the dome bouncing installation is unique. Plenty of free parking too. It is tricky getting to photograph many of the animals behind fences so some editing is required.

Anyone writing a poor review of this place, is getting it all wrong. This place charges a low fee (cheaper if booked online) because they know themselves what they charge is right for what you’re going to get. If you’re expecting a lavish farm experience, please book the ones that charge £20 per person. Usual farm animals, goats, llamas/alpacas, donkeys, saw two zebras and wallabies, few monkeys, parrots and a few others I can’t remember their name but were okay. Good outdoor playground area, can imagine it gets busy in the summer. Fairly clean. Cafe area was good, variety was fine. Soft play, think the company gets a lot of negative reviews over it - like lower your expectations, it’s a small farm with a small soft play but it can keep a toddler entertained for an hour (don’t go during peak times if you wna avoid the crowds). And the staff were and are very friendly! I’m giving it a 5 star for the price and for what you get!
