Beautiful, peaceful spot for a walk 🌿 Ashtead Common offers stunning ancient woodland, open spaces, and a real sense of calm. Perfect for a relaxing stroll, spotting wildlife, and escaping the busy pace of everyday life. I was walking in Epsom common and suddenly i came across the board for Ashtead common so i kept walking! Really enjoyed it!

Lovely place to get lost in, you might stumble upon the river Rye, some cows, open grassy areas, huge ancient oak trees, or deer running across your path. Local people living here are very lucky to have this on their doorstep. I’ve been coming here for years and there’s always a new path I’ve not been down, to explore.

Great common to walk or ride a bike. Many different ways to walk through it. Few larger and smaller ponds for dogs to have a dip. Well looked after and maintained. Easily connected with Epsom common and Horton park

Very tranquil place and very safe to walk alone, with a friend or your dog. You can see cows, horses, lots of bugs and the flowers just keep changing from each season passing. You can ride your bike through the different paths and also ride a horse in selected areas too. Great ponds and trees you will pass and be sure to wear hiking boots if it rained yesterday. The mud can sink to considerable depths.

Large open area (oddly owned by the City of London despite being is Surrey) which is good for walking. However, there aren't many places to sit, and there is a private woodland in part of it which forces you to walk around it.
