I don't use the phrase 'hidden gem' often but this place certainly qualifies. A great little family outing - there is a trail that loops around the various animal pens and paddocks, with a small playground in the middle. The cafe also serves fantastic pizza at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Definitely not a 5 star experience but not 1 star either. The farm trail looks like a work in progess,not the worst but does need improvement. Do not visit after wet weather. Tack room cafe looks nice, toilets clean, lots of parking.

DON’T FUND THEIR ANIMAL NEGLECT!!! I am so angry with this place! We were served by a young girl on reception who looked around 12. We then went into see the small animals and the meerkats seemed very stressed, the enclosure didn’t have enough wood or space and one was running round stressed and looked like they were loosing hair by their tail. We then went on the trail walk and everything seemed okay until one of the goats escaped which is fine accidents happen and they are animals and can be unpredictable what I have an issue with is it look them 30 minutes to come and try and get the goat that was running round and jumping up me and charging towards kids. The worst part of the visit was that I picked up a thick piece of glass up out of the pigs enclosure after a pig was trying to eat, I actually had to try and push the pig away so it didn’t eat the glass!! When I then brought the glass to reception and asked how many people are around the trail while the farms open to monitor he didn’t really give me and answer he thanked me for the glass and then said “thank you for that this place is an ex council site so there’s a few bits about we never would have known if you didn’t bring it me. So you let animals go into pastures and don’t look or check the pasture before you put them in?! These are lives!! you have a duty of care to these animals and you can’t be arsed to check the pastures before you let the animals in there! I will never be funding this place again. I think they neglect their animals and they clearly don’t care about the animals they have!

The best veggie breakfast ever !!! We come here a lot and it’s always lovely, came today for the first time for breakfast & we will definitely be back. Staff are always warm, welcoming and so friendly. Very quick service even when it’s busy, lovely atmosphere. Nothing bad to say whatsoever! The farm is always great too, good price, friendly animals which you can feed. Brilliant for small children, nice walk around the area too. Plenty of things to do. Will always come back here.

Visited the farm today, id booked to see Father Christmas online, unfortunately I arrived with my autistic little boy on the wrong day 🤦‍♀️… the staff was absolutely incredible and got us in before santas booked slots were starting. As for father Christmas himself he quickly realised my little boy had additional needs and is predominantly non verbal, he went above and beyond for him, we was all blown away!! I can’t thank the staff and the big man himself for making the farm visit more incredible than normal. Thank you ☺️
