Lovely house and grounds, spent a whole day there and will most likely return in the near future. Lots to see inside, along with extra tours you can pay extra for. The "Behind Closed Doors" tour was really good, being able to visit the top two floors and learn about the last owner of the estate. The guide was enthusiastic and informative, well worth the extra £6 each, in my opinion (just cannot take photos though, unfortunately). Always a good idea to look around for the informative booklets in each room for extra informative, along with many of the staff members who were full of information. Lots of walks along excellent paths, most suitable for wheelchairs, near the river and through the deer park. A massive car park which is currently in very good condition, as are the roads in and out of the site, thankfully. A fabulous café and restaurant near the entrance.

Great place, the park is huge perfect for walking through the forest. Mansion is amazing, really good café too. Highly recommend if you want to spend your day in nature.

Had a wonderful day out at Attingham Park. It was very busy on Easter Sunday but well organised. The grounds are stunning with some beautiful old trees and plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained. The grounds are dog friendly with plenty of poo bins provided. The house is stunning! The walled garden was huge, one of the biggest we have seen at a national trust. The winner for us was the kids play area! Out three year old spent quite some time playing on all the equipment and running through the tunnels. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I would recommend having a family day out here as it genuinely a lovely place!

Lovely national trust property! The whole outdoor area is dog friendly and the cafes have outdoor dog friendly seating that is sheltered. There is also an off lead area along the walk before you enter the deer park that is clearly marked. Every time I've come here, I have been able to spot deer as well. Guests seem to be very respectful of them, so while they maintain a distance, you can still watch them. Food and drink have vegan options. In warmer weather, the cafe has a vegan ice cream soft serve machine. The gift shop, bookshop, and toilets are all not dog friendly, so if you want to go in, you will need a friend to hold onto your dog. The garden shop is all outdoors so is dog friendly.

Christmas at Attingham Park is truly magical. Each room features its own beautifully decorated Christmas tree with a different theme, making every space feel special and festive. The care and effort put in by the volunteers really shows in the beautiful decorations throughout the house. And to top it all off, the cakes in the café are absolutely beautiful — the perfect treat after exploring. A lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit.
