Very nice park. Just be aware that the water play area goes off at a certain time and also takes about 15 minutes to fill.up between cycles. It is great though. Maybe a little more.shade in the park would be good.

Absolutely stunning park .enclosed playground, lots of areas for children to go paddling. Nice picnic area. Great for dogs who like going in water! Loved it. 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell

Great play area in beautiful surroundings. Equipment was focused on climbing which is a great introduction to the sport as well as had the usual swings and spinners. Easy walk from the town.

Nice park right next to the river. Well looked after. 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre. Cricket club is within it. Toilets available ( charge of 20p ) Plenty of benches. Children's play area. Its not too big, you can walk around it in 20 minutes, but the whole area itself, by the river and the bridges, the ducks, all together make a collaboration of nature's beauty. Dogs allowed but on leads. Large car park found close by, other side of the river. Looks pretty, even in the rain.... !

Fabulous park set within the peak district with rolling hills and countryside surrounding the recreation grounds,lovely walking circuit along the riverside, cricket ground and pavilion,Bowls, table tennis tennis courts, children's play area,paddling pool, I would highly recommend a visit even if you just love the countryside views.. Let alone keeping your family entertained..its within easy reach of the town amenities..
