Along with my wife we visited Bantock Park and House after reading the positive reviews and comments, and I can honestly say that it's a fantastic place to visit and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and as we visited on a Thursday it was not too busy. If you Google the opening times it gives you the wrong information, so make sure that you use the official council website for the information you require. For a lovely afternoon and a drink and bite to eat and if the weather is sunny you can't do better!🙂

Very enjoyable first visit to the house and surrounding park. Managed by the council, some very friendly staff inside. Nice cafe with various hot and cold food, snacks, drinks etc. Again lovely staff in there. It's free (donations accepted). Lots of used books for sale alongside a nice gift shop. Various local history exhibits, a temporary exhibition (on puppetry), some cool original features.

Visited Bantock House in Wolverhampton during the Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival week. Free entry. Plenty to see around the house over two floors. Worth a visit. Busy cafe with seating available indoors and indoors. Adjacent park. Reasonable size car park available with additional street parking.

Great place for a quick visit with the whole family. The place has a lot of history which is interesting to learn about. Lots of great features still intact to this day. A quick video at the start is very informative. Went in winter so the gardens weren't the best but still looked very nice. If you are local to here then pop in for a visit it is worth it plus you can go for a nice stroll in the adjacent park.
