A hidden gem situated in a railway station. Free to enter. The volunteers are all so knowledgeable and are happy to show you around and explain things. Lots to see a 1940s kitchen, an Anderson shelter, a ww1 trench and also local history. Can park outside but only for two hours but a large car park nearby. A hidden gem that needs to be known about more

Visited middle of August Fabulous little war museum situated in the railway station. All run by volunteers who should be commended for their commitment. Guide who showed us around was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed listening to and looking at what he had to show us. Answered all of our questions. Would definitely come back again.

Loved it. You can spend 10 minutes here and enjoy it or you can talk to the staff and get so much more over about an hour. Go for it, ask questions and listen.
