My only complaint was the boardwalk wasn't long enough! Really enjoyed it. Many species of butterflies were evident. When the boardwalk opened up into open water it was really quite something. Both birds and boats aplenty. A busy area. Go early in the morning if yiu want to try and experience this without bumping into many other people. Good chance of seeing more wildlife than we did at what seemed to be prime time for other visitors. The going is easy and it's a nice way to pass half an hour or so. I personally found Ranworth Broads to be more fun and there is a 4-5 mile walk you can tackle using public right of ways and bridleways. If you're in the area and haven't visited before, get on it.

Beautiful Barton Broad Boardwalk! Free parking, well maintained small paradise! It is a nature reserve so no pets allowed, super peaceful and relaxing. Signs (Including braille) available to detail what it’s protecting and who lives here. Was hoping to see otters but no lucky yet! The broadway is well built and is both railed and no railed in certain places, plenty of benches to take in the beauty!

There is a circlar circuit leading to the broad viewing platform and then returning to the origin. The journey is not long but it is very pretty. We had a very sunny day which made the visit so much better. There are many spaces where there is no safety railing and a young or older person could stumble a fall into the marsh. Caution should be exercised.

A lovely accessible boardwalk which loops and extends to a viewing platform. There a some benches along the way for a rest as well as some information boards with pictures & also signs in braille. No dogs allowed on the walk other than service / guide dogs and they must be kept on a lead. Perfect sights for birdwatchers & nature photographers

Disabled car park is right next to the boardwalk, other car park is further along and requires a walk around a field and along a quiet road to get to the boardwalk. Parking is free. Nice circular route and a short walk with a lovely view point
