Beach House Park is Worthing's premier public park, established in 1924 after being purchased from the Beach House Estate. Located between Brighton Road and Lyndhurst Road, this expansive green space offers visitors a peaceful retreat in the heart of the town, opposite Worthing Hospital. The park is renowned as the home of flat green bowling, featuring four top-quality bowling greens where play takes place from late April through October. Members of the public can turn up daily to arrange matches with the resident Worthing Bowls Club or Homefield Park Bowls Club, with equipment hire and coaching available for beginners. Beyond the bowling facilities, Beach House Park showcases beautiful horticultural displays including herbaceous borders, mature and interesting tree species, spring and summer bedding, and a distinctive line of ornamental Acer cappadocicum trees. The charming Old Pavilion at the centre of the park has been revamped to house Palm Court Café and Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and evening meals with an attractive outdoor seating area overlooking the bowling greens. The park also features several memorials including the Tree of Life Holocaust Memorial and the Battle of the Boar's Head memorial, making it a place of both recreation and reflection. Lovely place to sit away from the noise of town, the volunteers the maintain the the herb garden do a great job. Only issue i have is the toilets could do with updating plus drug dealers leave there drugs for people to collect in the end toilet, plus have many names seen paraphernalia left in there. Otherwise lovely place just sort the loo's out but I do understand sadly nothing can be done about the drug users. 😞

Visited Beach House Park for the annual Jack on The Green. Great entertainment for the kids and adults alike. Although we had timed tickets, the evening was running about 30 minutes late. Despite the extra hussle and bussle it was lovely to see the park and cafe all lit up.

Fantastic park close to beach and town centre. Ideal for a stroll or a picnic. Lots of flower gardens and wild margins. Great for a couple of hours of peaceful relaxing out of town.

One of my favourite places in Worthing and I go here often with my dog. My 3 year old granddaughter loves coming here too and particularly loves the squirrels and the pigeons. Lots of shade on hot days and plenty of benches. It's a great place to relax. Full of mature trees and lovely flowerbeds with plenty of grass for picnicking

Wonderful space to relax. Real sun trap. Beautiful floral displays. Love the roses. A terrific vegetable patch. A poignant Memorial Garden. Bowling Green. Popular cafe. Easy access.
