Embark on guided boat trips to see Grey and Common Seals in their natural habitat at Blakeney Point, plus migrating birds along the Norfolk coastline.

Beans Boats offers daily seal-watching expeditions departing from Morston Quay in Norfolk, providing families with an exceptional wildlife experience. With over 80 years of operating experience in Blakeney Harbour, the company operates five custom ferries that take visitors on approximately one-hour trips to see resident Grey seal and Common Seal colonies up close without causing disturbance to the animals. Visitors will journey up Morston Creek and into Blakeney Harbour, passing the historic Blakeney Lifeboat station while enjoying views of the beautiful Norfolk Coastline. Blakeney Point is recognized as one of Europe's most important sites for migrating birds, so passengers can expect to observe resident and migrating bird species throughout the voyage. The experienced crew provides commentary on local history and harbour information while guests have ample opportunity to photograph inquisitive seals that frequently surface around the boat. This outdoor adventure is suitable for families with children and dogs, with pricing at £20 for adults and £10 for children aged 14 and under. The venue is dog-friendly and pushchair-friendly, making it accessible for families with young children. Advance booking is required by phone, and trips are tide-dependent, with visitors advised to arrive 30 minutes early. National Trust facilities including toilets and a café are available at Morston Quay.

This was a sight to behold. Beans do a great job of taking us to where the seals are, with a thorough explanation whilst we sre heading out on the boat. The boats are very well maintained and the organisation was good, especially when there were so many visitors and 3 boats to arrange the people into. The staff are great and made the trip worthwhile.

Loved our seal boat trip - our skipper George was very knowledgeable and told us all about the seals and the area and the history of the boats. Seeing the seals was so special. Thank you Beans!

I've lived in Norfolk all my life and this is the first time I've been on a seal boat trip and in my opinion it was excellent. Very informative crew with a bit of Norfolk humour thrown in plus of course seals. The boat got close but at a respectful distance and certainly didn't cause any distress to the animals. Bird life was on offer too with Sandwich and Little Terns on the beach and on the wing, a very enjoyable way to spend an hour on a Thursday. Booking essential and then pay on the day, it's as simple as that. Keep up the good work, I loved it. 👍🏼

We had a great trip to see the seals. We were doubly lucky with the weather as it was warm and flat calm. Jason gave an excellent commentary full of information.

Nice little tour, the crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Boat was clean and tidy - we saw a good number of seals on our visit and lots of bird life. I’d be inclined to suggest that £20 per person for an hour trip is a little high - you’d feel hard done by if you didn’t see any seals at all.
