A really lovely park, with beautiful mature trees. Very well kept, with volunteers keeping it free from rubbish! Even though there are plenty of bins! Plenty of seating areas, Also a extremely good cafe, with a really good selection of food and drinks. And if you want a game of tennis great tennis courts

Lovely and peaceful and tranquil considering it's location. However this park has some seriously dangerous potholes in it. Please be careful on foot and especially if you are in a wheelchair like myself. That said on a sunny day down by the river there is actually gorgeous

Very lovely park just beside the Northampton general hospital and city centre. River Nene runs across the park. Has one large and few small lovely bridges over the river. Large one is very beautiful to have a wonderful walk and photo session. Has tennis courts, a cute coffee shop and play grounds as well. The architectural beauty of University of Northampton can be enjoyed from the park bridge. Good track for jogging. Overall very wonderful park. Totally enjoyed our time.

A lovely park with a fab cafe in the middle - we did the university of Northampton parkrun - which was a fab 5k run starting at the university campus and 3 laps of the park - nice to wander along the canal and up to the lock as well definitely worth a visit - great bacon roll at the cafe too 🏃🏻☕️🍰😊😊

Great green open space in the middle of chaotic Northampton. Great to walk the dogs and enjoy views of the canal and extensive intricate bridges. The children's play area is enclosed and has an array of play apparatus to keep the young ones amused for an eternity. Sadly no public toilets. Seating is sparce there a few benches dotted around but the open green areas are vast so make sure you bring your picnic rugs and additional food for the squirrels as they'll be eating out of hand.
