Beddington Park is a lovely local park with plenty of open space, pretty walking paths, and a peaceful riverside feel. It’s great for a relaxed stroll, dog walking, picnics, or spending time with family. The historic surroundings and greenery give it a nice charm, and there’s enough space for children to run around and enjoy themselves. It’s well used by the community but still feels calm and pleasant. Overall, a beautiful spot in Wallington for a bit of fresh air and downtime.

A gem of South West London! A huge park, with the river Wandle criss-crossing, water fowl, plenty if spaces to picnic but also woody bits. Trees and birds are truly amazing. During warm season children often play in the river (which is less that knee-deep here!) And there is a huge playground with a cafe in the centre and the Grange pub/restaurant for more adult audiences. The Park neighbours Beddington Farmlands, an enclosed bird reserve with bird watch points.

Wide open areas of well maintained space. With a peaceful little river to sit by. Plus theres a lovely kids playground. My little boy had fun. Hopefully will get some more maintenance done there before summer. And nice looking cafe with indoor & plenty outdoor seating I'll check out next time. There's a car park near it.

Beddington Park gave us one of those rare, properly golden family days. We arrived at about 1pm, found a spot under a tree between the playground and the River Wandle, and set up the picnic table in the perfect place. The kids could drift between the swings, the river, and the open grass, while we could keep an eye on them without needing to run a parental command centre. They spent ages net fishing in the river, proudly showing us tiny catfish, sticklebacks, and shrimp in a bucket before releasing them all back. There was football, a bit of cricket, a picnic in the sunshine, ice creams from the café, and the sort of easy family chaos that makes a day feel properly memorable. The park itself is beautiful. The playground works well for different ages, the café does lovely drinks and ice cream, and the food looked decent too, although we had brought our own picnic. The only downside is parking. Spaces are fairly limited, so if you arrive late you may struggle. That said, the parking is free, which is almost mythical these days. A genuinely lovely place, and easily one of the best family park days we’ve had in ages.

Beddington Park is stunning in every season! It’s very spacious with a beautiful mix of lakes, streams and scenic paths perfect for a long walk. so much variety here from vibrant flowers to a huge array of birds to watch and feed. The historic St. Mary’s Church with a cosy cafe at the back adds a gorgeous backdrop to the whole experience. A true local gem. .
