Acres and acres of park and woodland. Plus a big "Jungle gym" , kids playground, golf course, tennis courts, bowls greens and a couple of cafe/bars. Also footpaths link to other areas of woodland nature reserves.

Belfairs Park in Southend-on-Sea is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The park has plenty of open green space, lovely woodland trails, and well-maintained paths that are perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and you can often see wildlife while exploring the area. There is also a golf course and areas suitable for families and dog walkers. Overall, it’s a fantastic park for spending time outdoors and escaping the busy town.

Parking is hit and miss . Cafe is lovely with toilets but dogs aren’t allowed inside ( awkward if on your own) . The actual woods are really fun and interesting to walk around. So many options with all the woods that link together . The ox bow stream is a school kids delight ( also great for the dogs to cool down in ) . Easy to get turned around and confused to get back but that’s the joy of nature ! Avoiding the golfers is a challenge until you’ve been there a few times . There is a kids play area that looks great . Poo bins are spotted around the walks so no excuses !
