Beautiful place! The kids loved it; duck feeding, adventure playground, beautiful and varied gardens from around the world. And.... Dog friendly! Perfect! We spent 4 hours here, wandering about

Very good garden, covers quite a large area with many different sections with plants from many areas. Takes quite a while to cover, allow yourself at least 3-4 hours to give it justice, even then you will probably miss some of the areas. There is the usual shop that you enter the garden area through with a large amount of goods to look through. This is also the area with the cafe / restaurant in, good range of both hot and cold food, good quantity and quality. Prices reasonable. There is also a small narrow gauge railway which runs through the garden offering a ride of about 25 minutes at an extra cost to the standard entry fee. There are concession fee reductions to the entry fee for seniors. All in all it is a place well worth visiting if you are in the area. .

A superb day out at Bicton Gardens - a true gem in the heart of the Devon countryside. Plenty to see and do, you don’t need to be a plant or garden enthusiast to appreciate the wide range of flower and fauna here. Set in over 60 acres of ground, you won’t take in everything on your first visit, this is where the excellent membership package comes in very handy! Lovely cafe where you can sit inside or out, with lovely staff. Plenty to do for the smaller ones, there were plenty there when we visited, playing in the outdoor and indoor play areas, plus mini tractors to drive around. We visited a the weekend when they had their Father’s Day Steam and Vintage event on - wow - so much to see and take in from tractors to steam engines to vintage stationary engines lined up, it really added to our visit. Keep up the good work Bicton, we will be back!

What a fantastic gem! I can't believe we hadn't visited sooner. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and there plenty to do here. We visited during Easter half term and although a little busy to enter, (would be handy to have a queue for people who had already purchased tickets) it didn't feel too crowded around the park. The gardens were beautiful when we went and the weather was glorious but I expect even on a dreary day there's enough here to make a day of it. We bought duck food and went on the train. We didn't explore all of the park as our little ones got tired but that makes it even better as you can make each visit different depending on where in the park you visit. We can't comment on the food as we took a picnic but we spoke to people there who said it was good food. I can't wait to go back and I think I'll become a member to take advantage of the benefits you get with it.

Wow, what a beautiful place 😍 loved our visit. Stunning grounds. Loads for kids to do, including a miniature train. Really friendly staff. Dog friendly. My only one negative is the cafe, it was expensive for what you got, my JP had minimal filling.
