Bideford Railway Heritage Centre manages two heritage sites dedicated to preserving the region's railway history. The main Bideford station site features an interactive interpretation centre showcasing north Devon's railways, a railway museum housed in a historic signal box, and a café serving refreshments. From order to food coming it took 3/4 hour and there were only 8 other people in carriage. When roast came out it looked like a complete mess.the two Yorkshire puddings looked like they were last weeks..the parsnips were reheated about 4 times as it was impossible to cut and the same for 4 tiny potatoes the half carrot was like 2 weeks old and limp .no freshness at all..and only two small slices of beef...would not recommend it to anyone .and not to insult weatherspoons there's is so much better at less than half price ..so it amazes me as to the awards they display..something is not true..

BRH could be a visitors highlight to Bideford. On a wet June 2nd Tuesday everything was shut and deserted. Also there was notice of actual opening times and out of date signage. Please update all signage and list what are opening days, just Sundays? Put openings hours an every entry door (4 plus). Also contact information. Get Bideford Town Council sponsorship to improve volunteers and visitor experience. Good luck.

Interesting station one small shunter and railway carriages one is a visting centre and one is a cafe which serves reasonable fair also the signal box is open with plenty of photos of the railway when it was in use .
