The pools are clean and at a perfect temperature. There are lessons that are for great prices and the staff are kind and friendly. There is also a gym that is clean and very useful for me. It's a great Arena.

This is my local gym. Nice pool, plenty of classes to attend. Gym area equipment is good. It can get very busy with members some use the equipment, other move from one piece of equipment to another and sit there blocking the equipment, as they only just sit scrolling on their mobile phones with no intention of using the weight machines.

After school hours the place turns into a crèche full of groups of kids playing on the equipment. You will have to wait to get on any piece of equipment. Once you get on a machine, you will have to start by removing the last kids weights before you then have to search the gym for wherever they have left all the weights (their mum’s don’t clean up after them here). The men’s toilets ALWAYS smell of urine. Either they are not regularly cleaned or the kids aren’t properly toilet trained. This place has been over subscribed for a number of years. It has some good equipment and is a nice environment but it just always seems to be poorly managed (if it’s managed at all).

No stars! I was collecting a child from koalaklubs to take for an hospital appointment and walked into the reception area with my “toy” poodle in my arms. The reaction I got was as though I’d walked in with three bullies on leads. My dog was in my arms, no barking not a sound from her. I asked if someone would go and shout her-we don’t do that I was told. Next minute a youth approached me asking me to leave the premises. I explained why I was there and pointed out that my dog was in my arms. Still he preceded to tell me to leave the building. He then barged off into the back while the rest of the staff watched on. Oh the power! 😬

Great leisure centre, the classes are good the sports instructors are excellent in the classes. The whole place has a friendly and welcoming feel amongst members. The reason for 3 stars is a friendly ask to those who can, please can you clean the changing rooms (female) a bit more, top up the toilet rolls, top up the soap, fix the leaking roof, and shattered glass in the gym window. I would also like to see the toilets generally working rather than signs about using down stairs, and what would be nice is that although the equipment in the gym is heavily used ... please can you service it better so that it works - particularly the bikes, and please don't just get rid of them, mend them would be nice. Also, ask the receptionists to be more accommodating and smiley (this doesn't apply to all). Thanks very much.
