We camped at this beautiful location for the weekend. It's a small site with excellent washing/showering facilities. There is a games room/communal area upstairs in the barn too. The idyllic surrounding countryside really makes you feel like you have got away from it all. Had a superb full English breakfast in the on-site tearoom, the staff were really friendly and made the site feel like a nice place to relax. We camped next to a couple of donkeys, sheep and chickens as our neighbours. We got along perfectly. There's a local pub about 10 minutes walk away with easy access, avoiding the roads. Would happily go back here again.

This is a great place to visit. The cafe serves delicious sandwiches with the bread home baked. The windmill is fascinating, and fun to climb up. The highlight is the bread baking and butter making. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and it’s well worth the money!

Visited today with our two children (7 & 5 year olds) We had a lovely morning. We made our own bread and butter which was enjoyed by all. The tea room was lovely, cakes enjoyed by all. A lot of lovely fresh produce. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend climbing the mill to the top! We would return, however the play area could be improved, it isn’t overly suitable for our age children but they still had a great time.

Spent 2 nights at this lovely little campsite and it was perfect. We were lucky to be allocated plot 7 in the corner, which was amazing! Lovely clean showers, toilets and they even provide shower mats 😀 There’s also an area to wash up, with t towels provided for your use. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings at the tea room and purchased bread and cakes from the bakery before departing. Fabulous find and would highly recommend.

Visited while on our Easter holiday and was very impressed. Very nice cafe with gift shop around the sides of the room so you can browse while you are waiting for your food. Food was tasty and they had a good choice of cakes. The staff were friendly and clearly work hard. The windmill itself and adjoining attraction were very interesting and the kids enjoyed having a go at making bread and meeting the animals. A selection of second hand books available to buy was a bonus. Highly recommend for a 2-3 hour visit.
