A place of tranquility and a way to find connection with nature in the middle of built up Walkden. Really worth a visit to listen to the birds, walk your dog or just watch the ripples on the lake.

Visited on the 8th may. Not difficult to find,a sign outside, when entered,could see the visitors reception? Not open,there is a car park,big enough,it was some cars there. Just a few yards a large reservoir, with lots of ducks,swans, Coots,and other birds. Fir the first time had the opportunity to see a Khaki Campbell duck. In the middle of the reservoir there are small isles,for support duck species or others? Difficult to see what for. Walked along, noticed you can fishing. Thera are some trails,some really easy to walk and some not so. Used different paths. Lots of different specimen of trees. Lots of birds,could be good for bird watching. Several people walking dogs. Saw some picnic tables and many benches around. It's a good Park for residents to pass a few hours there. Didn't see any playground. Didn't see any toilets as well.

Nice and clean!!!! Beautiful view and fresh clean air. Lovely place to get your steps in, and suitable to families!
