Some of the animal looked unhealthy the reindeers ribs can be seen which is extremely unhealthy.Some of the enclosures are dirty and need a good clean (elephants and orangutans) . This was my first visit to Blackpool zoo and I personally wont be heading back.. Some animals looked sad whilst other did look well looked after and happy... very odd experience.

Really liked our visit. The zoo is lovely and has a fair few attractions to entertain all the family. We'll definitely returning and favour it over Chester. As it's so much more value for money. Parking is an additional. Also if you have any children or want food that isn't super processed or fried. I'd highly recommend you bring your own lunch. Honestly, it's a crime to only offer such cancer impactful food.

A lovely selection of animals. All appear very well looked after and all have good clear signs to read about. Accessibility around the park is great. Good descriptions about each area and when there is a change of gradient and ground. Lots of information on the website prior too. Plenty of seating around the zoo. Lots of talks scheduled through the day to learn about the animals. We really enjoyed our visit 😊 great value for money also

Four friends went together and had a Grand Day Out! We had initially gone to see the baby elephant Zaiya who was truly adorable but so much more to see-and lots more baby animals! It was Springtime so only to be expected. The weather was sunny and there were plenty of cafes to get some refreshments and loos! Well worth the visit and great value for money. Large carpark only £4.50 for the whole day.

Blackpool zoo is a great attraction for all the family. With plenty to see and do, you will easily spend a full day here. There are leaflets available at the ticket office with information about daily animal talks/shows. We saw the sea lion one today which was well worth a look. There is a play area for young children and plenty of seasonal kiosks dotted about with ample seating. The main cafe is large with a selection of pricey food and drinks but you expect it at such attractions. Plenty of toilets and well maintained pathways for prams/wheelchairs. Shop at the exit is on the small side with highly priced children's toys, again to be expected. A bit odd the car park is pay and display-about an extra £4.50 on top of the entrance fee. That being said a great was had by all!
