A well laid nature park with decent hides. Trails were excellent and well sign posted, disabled buggies catered for with gravel trails.

Such a lovely relaxing place. It was lovely seeing the wild life. There is also kingfishers in the area. Nice to have the bird hives and that they are kept clean.

Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The reserve is very well maintained, with a variety of walking routes and plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature at a slower pace. It’s especially lovely for birdwatching, but just as enjoyable for a quiet walk or some relaxed time outdoors. There’s plenty of parking available on both sides of the reserve, which makes visiting easy. Toilets are located on the main side, along with an information hut that is usually open at weekends. During the summer months, there also seem to be activity sheets available for children, which is a nice touch for families. As you walk around, there are small information signs that add interest and help you learn more about the area and wildlife. The reserve also appears to be wheelchair accessible, with ramps leading to the birdwatching hides and well-maintained paths, although I’m not a wheelchair user myself. Overall, it’s a real gem for anyone who enjoys tranquil green spaces and time in nature.

Lovely place for bird watching. A number of hides available with the woodland hide with bird feeders attracting a lot of birds. If you are lucky, you may see kingfishers or otters from South Ivy hide.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend sometime in. The paths are all level and great for folk using wheel chairs. There was at least one motorised one hired out while we were there. Toilets on site. The hides are great to view the wildlife and in particular the birds. I saw a heron catch a fish and fly off. Note to take binoculars next time. Also picked loads of blackberries. We then finished off our time with lunch at Hockey's farm shop and farmyard cafe (a 5 minute drive away).
