Blue Kangaroo

Cottingham, United Kingdom•4.4(298)•Play Café, Soft Play Center

Enjoy indoor adventure play designed for young children aged 0-8, with a relaxed cafe where parents can unwind while supervising.

Blue Kangaroo is an indoor adventure play and party centre located in Cottingham, near Hull, specifically designed for children aged 0-8 years old. The venue features purposefully designed play equipment positioned to allow parents to sit back, relax and enjoy refreshments while maintaining clear sightlines of their children from almost any seat in the centre. The facility offers a safe, fun and friendly environment where young children can play, develop new skills and make new friends. By intentionally capping the age limit at 8 years old, Blue Kangaroo reduces the common issue of older children dominating play spaces, creating a more suitable atmosphere for younger visitors. The centre includes a cafe serving drinks, snacks and meals. Blue Kangaroo operates flexible play sessions throughout the week, with extended hours on weekends. The venue is particularly well-suited for families with infants and toddlers through to early primary school-aged children, and offers dedicated party packages for special occasions. Entry is affordable, with free admission for babies under 8 months and competitive pricing for older children.

I have visited Blue Kangaroo multiple times in the last 10 months. My nieces and nephews love it, the youngest is now 3 and it is her fav place. We have tried most of the other play areas locally and BK is by far the best. The staff are brilliant, so friendly and clearly love children, the food is good, they are constantly cleaning and ensuring children and grown ups have a lovely time. Would advise phoning on a weekend to check availability prior to visit as they do get busy quickly ❤️

Children’s play area which is smaller and cheaper than some of its competitors. It can get quite full during school holidays but otherwise there are plenty of tables to sit down, and you can eat some lunch or have a decent cappuccino and cake! There are safe places for children to throw themselves around, and a slide wide enough for several kids to slide down at once. A happy place and the toddlers love it!

I have visited here for my son's friend birthday party yesterday. It was good for them to play in safe place and also have party there. The drinks there were nice, I got mocha and my husband got green tea. Staffs were nice and friendly. The weather on that day was a bit warm but no air-condition turned on for us. Also, the ceiling is a bit low that make me feel a bit uncomfortable.
