Great place for a dog walk. You must keep your dog on a lead around the lake and the playground but after that there is a 3 mile round trip walk along the river where dogs can run free

Took my first visit here the other day after always being close to it but never stopping. I was surprised how lovely it is here. It offers a nice little walk if you walk all the way around and lots of beautiful things to see.

A cold day for a walk. But thoroughly enjoyable. We enjoyed a tea at the little cafe. We saw some Greylag Geese. And lots of other beautiful birds. We will go again.

Nice place for an autumn walk with some impressive trees. Park for the kids, lake to walk around and feed the ducks as well as a cafe serving food and ice cream. Can get very busy on nice days, but generally enough room as it's a large area.
