Brilliant tour. I paid just a little extra and we had the guided tour. Absolutely worth the money. Gemma our guide was fabulous, very personable, knowledgeable and positive throughout. Totally recommend BODMIN JAIL. The lady in the cafe was delightful too.

It's great for kids. There are a lot of effects that make the experience more engaging. The museum itself isn't as big as expected and the tour isn't with a real person. But all in all, it's a must visit.

We had a fantastic guided tour at Bodmin jail. Our tour guide was T, despite only spending two months leading the guided tours T's knowledge was nothing short of amazing. It was clear that T had worked in and around the jail for quite some time. A very informative tour that contained something for all of the family, as all four of us throughly enjoyed this experience. Well worth a visit. And if you do ever read this T thank you for an unforgettable experience.

The immersive experience was good and looking around the jail seeing the different cells and the history behind the jail was interesting. They have a cafe which is fairly priced. The parking was a bit tricky to find and is a little walk away from the entrance and you need time to get there from the car park as the start of the visit is time. We did get there a bit late for our time visit due to not being able to finding the parking at first but it was ok as we went in on the next time slot.

We visited today and took the guided tour. Josh, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and handled questions brilliantly. He certainly made our visit special. My Dad has limited mobility and uses a scooter. The attraction was accessible throughout with lifts and ramps where needed. The attraction itself was well created with good use of modern technology as well as more traditional interpretation. Really impressed.
