A beautiful part of the world. We walked the short walk to Saint Andrew's church which is well worth a visit with it's late Saxon tower and Norman interior. Great Cheese scones in the café at the lake.

We visited this park several times during our holiday. There are lovely walks, lots of wildlife and it is very dog frirndly. It's mostly flat apart from a small hill going towards the cafe. The cafe is great but it isn't open every day, so it is best to check first if you are intending to visit. It sells dog icecream which is excellent. All in all, highly recommended.

The walk around the lake is as perfect as always with benches all around with a good path. There are many carparks around with one having toilets and the occasional ice cream truck. Around the lake there is a little board walk along the forest And there are little islands that you can walk up on offering a different but gorgeous view

Nice relaxing walk around the lake. Wheelchair accessible for my mum but recommend the low house car park rather than the northern main car park that has visitor centre and cafe but can have a coffee there first then go to car park to do walk as hill from coffee to lake is very steep for wheelchair.

Lovely spring walk around the lake. Plenty of swans and ducks. Daffodils and primula brighten the walk and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed a cuppa and a beautiful cheese scone at the café. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The parking machine in the car park wasn't working so had the rigmarole of paying online. We already had our dogs out of the car or we'd have tried one of the other car parks. Annoying.
