Maya was our instructor at our pottery session. She has a very calming aura, and was very detailed during the demo which made the experience very easy. She was attentive and helped a lot. She also has a great personality me and my friend enjoyed talking about our fave books during the session. Very nice girl who really added to the experience! The staff were lovely at bonbon and the drinks were very nice and well presented. I would 100% come again and I’d recommend to everyone who’d like a calm activity to enjoy. Can’t wait to pick up my pottery!

We had a fantastic experience at Bon Bon Pottery! It was our first time trying the hand-building session, and it was so much easier than we expected. Alice was absolutely brilliant so friendly, patient, and always there to help whenever we needed it. She made us feel really comfortable and confident throughout. Everyone was so welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We were also pleasantly surprised by how little mess there was! We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back to try some of the other activities. Highly recommend!

I have just finished the 5-week Foundation Pottery Course with Maya and I cannot recommend this course highly enough. If you have toyed with the idea of getting started with pottery, this is such a perfect place to start. Maya is a brilliantly knowledgeable teacher who leads you through all the key stages, from wedging and hand-building, to wheel throwing, refining, and decorating. She also provides you with plenty of space and creative freedom to play and experiment, so you can focus on and practice the techniques that specifically interest you. Don't expect a stuffy classroom; you'll be leaving covered in clay (if you're like me) and full of ideas for what you want to do next! The price of the course allows you to keep five small pieces, but the option is there to pay a little extra to fire and glaze more. Our group made a range of items, including: cups, a pair of vases, a candle holder, a butter dish, the cutest little charcuterie board for one...! Maya encouraged us to design and sketch ideas in-between sessions, which was a fun and useful exercise outside of the classes. Bonbon Pottery Cafe itself is such a delightful spot, run by the loveliest people. Coffee is excellent. There's honestly nothing more relaxing than sitting at the back of the studio on a Saturday morning with a coffee, painting something you've spent the past few weeks working on, and chatting with your fellow potters. I only wish that I could do it all again. Thank you, Maya and the Bonbon team!

Such a lovely and fun experience! My brother and I did the pottery painting session. There was a great range of pottery, paint colours and stencils to choose from. Such a chill and warm atmosphere, too. You could even order cold and warm drinks. Would definitely go again with my partner and friends.

Came to the workshop with my mum and we both had such a good time. Maya was lovely, patient and really added to our experience at Bon Bon Pottery! Would definitely recommend!
