Very interesting displays and attractively priced. The highlight for me was talking to the volunteers who all seemed knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Service and prices in the cafe were both very good, but as far as I could see they're limited to hot and cold drinks, cakes etc. Everything seemed well maintained and parking and toilet facilities were both good. I'd certainly recommend a visit.

My first visit. Interesting and well lay out museum. As always run by decated volunteers.. we caught the last day before it closed for the winter. Amazed what they have restored. Maybe some sound affects as you go around might be good . A good mess tent . My husband saw this by chance when visiting Anglsey Abbey NT last year and came with a friend. Prices very reasonable to get in. Need to boost their ads onto social media. Only open one Sunday a month and will reopen at easter.

We attended the 1940s event 5/6July 2025. The event was really good, especially the fly over with two spitfires. The re innactment was very loud and very entertaining come realistic. You are warned about the bangs which can frighten your dogs so please take precautions. , even for babies and young children. The museum was free and good with a good cafe attached. During the 1940s event there was live music and dancing and plenty of trade stalls and displays of military stuff. For the entry price this was a great value event . The car park was limited even with the overflow so get there early. A very well organised event and we will be back.

We attended a car show here on Sunday 11th Aug 2024, it's one of the best we have been to this year. The museum is not huge but it is good it is run by volunteers who are all friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibits, it was a RAF base that had the US 361st fighters on base with my favourite plane the Mustang which they do have one on site. The facilities are excellent the cafe does amazing home made cakes and their own ground coffee and the prices are really good. Even if there's not a car show if you are close it's worth a visit. There's many a venue that could learn from how well this is run. Thanks to all those that gave us a great day out.
