I went to a swimming pool today and it was extremely disappointing. The water was cold and dirty, and both kids and adults were jumping on top of people, making it impossible to swim safely. There was constant splashing with no supervision or control. The toilets and changing areas were also very dirty, with a strong smell of urine everywhere. it was a very unpleasant experience

Really nice friendly place good food massive pool loads of seating can take your own chairs etc... only drawback the2 male life guards are very whistle blowing happy which spoils it.... and the shallow end gets very busy due to not letting none good swimmers in deeper end even with parents on floating which is pathetic.... lighten up let people have fun...

Just back from our first visit to the Lido It was their first day of opening for the summer season. We got there early (about 1015) to avoid not being able to get in (we didn’t know if there was a maximum number allowed in) We joined the queue with everyone else who had the same Idea. We we entertained by a “penguin “ going along the queue giving the kids high fives! The fella at the pay desk was super efficient and the queue went down quickly! We found a spot in the shade along the hedge line in the shade. Although busy there was plenty of room for everyone. The Lifeguards on duty did a marvellous job of keeping the pool safe The snack bar was good value for money in a place where silly prices could have taken advantage of. There was a good selection of hot and cold food available along with drinks, ice lollies and Ive cream. Well done Bourne Lido for a great start to the season.
