Went there to see the bluebells but was most disappointed. You had to walk quite a distance and I was with an elderly lady who walked with a walker, so she didn't get to see the bluebells. I suppose if I had been by myself it wouldn't have been a problem

Lovely small woods with easy walks. Can get a little muddy but the ground was frozen today so no issues. Some paths were closed so got slightly lost and had to reroute onto a different coloured path. Yellow route was not sign posted.

Bradfield Woods is a lovely old woodland, full of interesting plants and birds. A walk around the whole forest with a dog takes about 45 minutes – perfect for a short nature trip. In autumn, you can also find plenty of mushrooms, so it’s worth bringing a basket. Peaceful and quiet, a great place to relax and unwind.
