Such an amazing and interesting place to visit! Very knowledgeable staff, loads of information boards dotted around, friendly staff, many artefacts on display and very nice cafe! Had such a great visit here and learnt and seen so much, will definitely return!

Brilliant displays, outside areas, cafe and the villa itself. The mosiac a are incredible.

Really interesting museum about a Roman Villa and life at the time on IOW. The volunteer was so very helpful and gave a lovely insight into the history of the site and the excavations. Great information boards around site and some amazing mosaic s. Allow about an hour to view it. Free parking. Cafe was lovely with small menu, must try those cheeseabd bacon scones :) Be careful though as cafe close at 3 in winter and 3:30 in summer and kitchen stop cooking thirty minutes before. Museum also close at 4 and last entry around 3

Fantastic place to learn about the Islands history, set in lovely surroundings, plenty of free parking, very well priced, staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful. Plenty of relics on display. We'll Recommended 👍

This place is simply amazing. It offers a glimpse into life in Roman Britain, in this case the high social status of its occupants and stands out for its well-preserved mosaics. All archeological finds are well labeled with easy to understand descriptions. There are many educational activities offered for children, and our 8-12 y/o had lots of fun participating. In addition, on the day we visited, there was. an adventure trail offered, with maps, tasks and final reward (ice pop) offered. Our kids had lots of fun exploring the Villa and we adults found it truly fascinating. There is a gift shop, restrooms and spacious coffee shop on the premisses, plentiful parking. Highly recommend visiting.
