Having booked in advance and been told to report 20 minutes ahead of time, I bust the gut to do exactly that, only to be told by a pretty unhelpful black-clad security guy that my booking was cancelled. Why? Because you are the only one booked. We have transferred you to the 6.30 one. At the ticket office, the story was completely different. The pod temperature is too high, it's nearly 40 degrees inside. Admittedly, it was the start of what the French call the canicule, the heatwave that hit Europe in the latter part of June. But I stuck to my guns, after all, I had a confirmed booking, so that was that. So I travelled as the sole paying passenger to the top, 138 metres. Quite a view but I didn't think worth the £16.50 I had paid as a senior citizens. It was odd to me that the air conditioning is clearly inadequate as a number of quite poorly installed portable units were clearly inadequate for really hot days. In addition, they play very loud and horribly bossy music which I cannot believe is either necessary or appropriate. I also spotted quite a few cracked and broken glass panels on the pod roof and was left wondering if the low passenger numbers I spotted on the previous and post trips to mine are typical and whether the attraction is actually making any money at all? Anyway it is expensive for what it is and I don't have it down as something you must do in the area.

Quick the experience ! Very hot inside so mot recommend on a heatwave , even with air-conditioning turned on after lift off it was still too hot. There are various cracks seen in the glass which i must say worried me when we reached the top. Views are incredible, defo recommending last time slot , sunset is amazing in May!

Absolutely love the Brighton I360! 2nd time in Brighton and done this attraction on both visits. Incredible views from the top especially on a clear sunny day which thankfully this time we were blessed with. Would definitely recommend. The I360 comes with on board bar and air conditioning so it's not too warm in the sun. A great way to see and experience Brighton and see the old west pier ruins. Staff very friendly and an all round great attraction. ❤️

Offers a fantastic view of the city with a fairly reasonable price. I am afraid of the heights but loved looking down at the beach and the sea and seeing Brighton and Hove from top is a cool experience that you should do at least once. Staff are absolutely amazing, very friendly people working there.

We absolutely love Brighton and Hove seafront we didn't actually visit the town or any of the other great sights this time as it was a lovely sunny spring afternoon and we enjoyed the gorgeous weather by the sea. We had lovely coffees and cakes under the i360 then I walked our dog off lead all the way along the prom into Hove. Gorgeous and really buzzing with people and school trips but still not over crowded this time of year. Next we walked towards Palace Pier and sat in a seafront bar area and had lunch right on the edge of the beach.
