Originally opened in 1899, it combines Victorian charm with modern entertainment and remains one of Brighton’s most iconic landmarks. The views are fantastic. Walking to the end of the pier gives you stunning panoramas of Brighton’s coastline, the beach, and the English Channel. It’s especially beautiful at sunset when the lights begin to illuminate the pier and the sea reflects the changing colours of the sky. There is plenty to do for all ages. The amusement rides range from family-friendly attractions to adrenaline-filled thrill rides, while the arcades offer everything from traditional penny machines to modern gaming experiences. There are also numerous food stalls serving classic seaside favourites such as fish and chips, doughnuts, ice cream, candy floss, and freshly made churros. What I particularly enjoyed was the atmosphere. The mix of families, tourists, couples, and locals creates a lively and welcoming environment. Even if you’re not interested in the rides, it’s worth visiting simply to enjoy the sea air, watch the waves, and take in the history of this famous landmark. The pier is free to enter for Brighton residents, while visitors may be charged a small admission fee during certain periods, which helps support the ongoing maintenance of this historic structure. Overall, Brighton Palace Pier offers a wonderful blend of nostalgia, entertainment, food, and seaside scenery. It can get busy during weekends and school holidays, but that’s part of its charm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A proper classic British seaside experience with fantastic views of the coastline. The best way to do it is just grabbing a soft serve ice cream, finding a free deckchair on the wooden boards, and taking in the sea breeze. It’s a great spot for photography, too. I’m giving it 4 stars because, from an aesthetic point of view, some of the infrastructure feels a bit tired and could definitely use a smart visual refresh to truly match the location's potential. Still, it's an iconic spot and absolutely worth a walk.

Brighton palace pier is a great place to have some fun next to the sea. There were loads of arcade machines, roller coasters, and food places! The roller coaster I went on was very fun and definitely made me shake a lot 😅. Prices were good for what you get, there is also lots of seagulls around here. There is also a £1 entry fee to beware of. I would reccomend visiting!

Brighton Palace Pier and the Beach is a beautiful part of Brighton its a wonderful place to come too. Its around a 10 minute walk from Brighton Train Station it cost £1 to enter the Palace Pier which has shops food rides and two arcades. You get great views of the beach and seafront there is plenty of benches and deck chairs to sit down on. I had a wonderful time here and will definitely come back to Brighton Palace Pier a good day out and lots to do.
