Since they’ve spent a bit of money on the park it’s a hell of a lot better. The play area is now brilliant for both toddlers and primary school aged children with plenty of room to play. One thing we did notice that was a bit of putting is people sitting in the play area who don’t have any children with them, despite there being plenty of benches and grassed areas around the park. The changing rooms look great from the outside and the park now feels a bit more of a place you’d like to go. You do still occasionally get suspicious looking transactions happening on the car park though.

This review is specifically about the new skatepark as that's what I visited for: It's alright. you have to be pretty confident with ramps to use all of it though. They haven't resurfaced the old part of the skatepark though, so unless you want to fight concrete it's pretty useless to skateboard on, probably more suited to BMX and scooters, and I don't know if it was just really windy on the day of my visit or if it is a bit of a wind tunnel/trap because it's on the top of a hill but you may find yourself fighting wind going the one way. The surface is lovely though i did find the coping a tad on the small side. If you're going just a little too fast for a stall, you'll find yourself flying over it. That being said, the ledges and rails are nice and the ledges are set up to cater to both regular and goofy skaters. All in all, a good park if you're a novice/intermediate+ skater just the old part not being resurfaced and the wind let's it down.

Where do I even start with this review.... I visited today as I was in the area to check out the new updated playground.. Well, what a bloody disappointment!!! It's clearly aimed at older children, including the slides - where as before, there was something decent for smaller children - there are now 2 bouncers and a carousel. The sea saw also appears to be aimed at older kids too. The swings have been pinched by the looks of it. The zipline is a joke! It hasn't even got a seat on it, so younger kids could be pushed by parents. And that tower! Totally inaccessible again for younger children - I had to climb up with my son just so he could use the slide. Once you're up there you're greeted by the fine artwork of the youths of Rowley Regis! What an absolute mess; there's graffiti all inside the tower, the roof and even inside the slide! The council sure knows how to waste money!!!! Total disappointment and won't be visiting again in a rush.

Visited today with the kids, lovely clean park with a new added play area. Also a building is being erected but I’m unsure of the purpose. Edit: A travelling funfair has arrived recently, one of the biggest fair rides I’ve ever seen Apollo 13, the owners of the fair have kept it very clean 👍🏻👍🏻 Pictures taken at 7am when no children in or around the park.
