Well worth a visit, we had 18 month and 3 year old with us, they thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the sculptures, the playground was great for them too. They even enjoyed looking round the shops! Train ride was an added bonus for them. The cafe was lovely, we saw the afternoon tea being brought out, it looked the best afternoon tea I have ever seen!! Plenty to see! Price was well worth the visit and we will return if in area again!

What an incredible place to visit, The British Ironwork Centre is much more than an ironworks.it's a unique experience filled with amazing craftsmanship, fascinating sculptures, and plenty to explore for all ages. The creativity and attention to detail in every piece are outstanding, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and passionate about what they do, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're interested in art, metalwork, or simply looking for a memorable day out, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Great place, great work, but it could do with more signs at the entrance showing which direction cars should go to park. The entrance desk should also be at the entrance, really, as anybody can just park up, walk around, and nobody would know. We are honest; we bought tickets and eventually found our way to reception. The cafe was expensive. They encourage you to order on the app, but no gluten-free options were available. I had to ask two members of staff if there was anything available and then ended up queuing anyway. One tiny slice of Victoria sponge was there at 11 a.m., so not a great selection at all for allergens. It was absolute chaos too; it did not feel relaxed. For everybody else, the 'afternoon teas' looked great. As I was on a mobility scooter, the ramp in the superheroes' marquee was terrible. I got stuck as it was not an 'all-in-one' ramp, and two men had to lift me and my scooter in/out so that particular ramp and entrance is no good for wheelchair users. Sculptures throughout the park were awesome, though. Great detail and hard work have not gone unnoticed.

Amazing sculpture park, well worth a visit Great way to while away a few fours marvelling at the skill of artists who upcycle to produce their craft. The knife angle is still on tour at present, but hopefully will be back. Best on a day not raining as the sculptures are outside. The forge tearoom does an amazing afternoon tea. Afternoon tea cost includes parking and entry to the sculpture park. ARRIVE HUNGRY! The afternoon tea includes 2 drinks and is massive. 4 finger sandwiches, a cup of chips, the largest scone I have ever seen with cream and jam, a slab of victoria sandwich and a chocolate brownie. Highly recommend

Had an amazing day here. We had an afternoon tea booked, but our car had broken down in the morning, so we weren’t sure if we would make it. We had travelled up from Surrey the day before - the staff were all exceptional when I phoned to explain…they all went above and beyond to help move our booking if we couldn’t make it. Luckily we got the car sorted and made it in plenty of time, but I can’t thank the staff enough for all their help on the day. The sculptures are amazing and very cleverly made. All in all a brilliant day out.
