This was my first time visiting Brocks Hill Country Park with my children, and we really enjoyed it. Just a note about parking — I originally thought parking was free, but it isn’t. The parking charge was £1 for 2 hours (so it’s worth being aware of this before visiting). The parking charge was decent nonetheless. The walking trails around the park are lovely and very family-friendly. The paths are mostly flat and easy to walk, making them suitable for children, dog walkers, and anyone wanting a gentle stroll. There are plenty of green spaces, nice scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere. I spotted two play areas during our visit, both of which were a good size and gave the children something to enjoy. The wooded area was a highlight for my children, as they loved the den-building area where they could use branches and get creative building dens. There are lots of shaded areas, which is great on warmer days, along with plenty of benches where visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. The park has lots of wildlife signs around, which is a lovely touch and encourages children to learn more about nature and the animals that live there. There is also a coffee shop on site called Jenno’s if you need refreshments, although we didn’t go inside during our visit. Overall, Brocks Hill Country Park is a peaceful and pleasant place for a family walk, with plenty of space for children to explore. We had a lovely first visit and would definitely would be returning.

Had a lovely morning here last weekend! 🌳☀️ The eco visitor centre is really impressive, and the woodland trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll with the dog. 🐕🍃 The kids loved the adventure playground, and there’s so much open meadow space for them to just run wild. 🛝🏃‍♂️ It’s crazy to think this place used to be a landfill—it’s so green and peaceful now. 🌼🦋 We packed a picnic and made a proper afternoon of it. Definitely a hidden gem on the edge of Leicester! 🧺✨

The woodland trail is a great place to walk the dogs. There is a play park and various teaching signs about the wildlife along the main route. Plenty of picnic areas along the trails. The cafe serves a good variety of drinks and food and dogs are allowed in the outdoor sheltered seating area. There is a parking fee.

Super Day Out! Put on your walking biots and get ready for a great fun risky adventure playground for older people with fast zipwire! Good loos, lots of benches & picnic tables, den building area, a smaller play area for under 8's, dog friendly (lots of dog poo bins) and a warm cafe!

Absolutely loved spending the afternoon here today. Children enjoyed every moment being here. From the walk, to the age appropriate play grounds to the den making area!! (I have some very creative children, they didn't want to leave!! 😆😆) The park was very clean which made our experience so much nicer. It was awesome to be out amongst nature and hear the birds through the trees. The coffee shop is usually open, but the times vary. All in all the park is perfect for every age, from the young ones to the older ones and everything in-between!! 😜😜🤣
