Closed until June 2026, it would be helpful if there was somewhere to post opening times instead of having to visit. Its a great railway and always such a shame when its not able to be open.

How could you not love this truly tiny but fully functional railway? It’s so small it’s easy to miss, and blends in perfectly with the park, passing by surprised people sitting on the rocks just meters away. The staff are very welcoming and for your money you receive a punched paper ticket as well as the ride. It’s a smooth ride at a good pace with a surprisingly powerful engine. Top tips: first, don’t get off when you reach the end, the driver is expecting to take you back! second, the centre bench seats slide to accommodate longer legs.
