Explore 8 hectares of historic parkland featuring sports facilities, a playground, paddling pool, and a magnificent 500-year-old oak tree.

Bruce Castle Park is a sprawling 8-hectare green space with roots dating back to the early 11th century. Originally part of the ancient Bruce Castle family estate, the park was acquired by the council in 1892 and has been a beloved community hub ever since. It earned the prestigious Green Flag Award in 2003 and has maintained this recognition continuously, reflecting its excellent management and maintenance standards. Families visiting Bruce Castle Park can enjoy diverse recreational facilities including basketball courts, multi-use games areas, tennis courts, table tennis tables, and a spacious playground perfect for children. The park features a paddling pool for summer cooling off, picnic areas for gatherings, and the Pavilion Cafe for refreshments. A major highlight is the magnificent ancient oak tree on the northern side, believed to be approximately 500 years old and recognized as a runner-up in the Woodland Trust's Tree of the Year award for England in 2018. The park offers educational experiences through its downloadable tree trail, designed specifically for children to explore and identify trees throughout the grounds. Additionally, Bruce Castle Museum and Archive, a Grade I listed 16th-century manor house located within the park, provides insights into local history and heritage. The park also features a Holocaust Memorial Garden honouring those lost during the Second World War. Open 24 hours daily with full wheelchair accessibility, the park welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities.

We love BCP, courts are well maintained and there is a cafe with toilets for a break. People Need Parks runs a free tennis / pickleball social on Fridays, equipment is provided, great way to get some excercise in and meet some new people 😊

Great park woth options for playing games and hosting friendly parties. Many children roam around freely. High trees provide nice canopy-like shade for when the sun is too much. Unfortunately, there are no toilets available.

A large park between Bruce Grove and Tottenham Cemetery. There is a famous 450 year old oak tree which dominates the scene in the middle of the park.

Bruce Grove is used to be a nice place but it's known for its diverse community and preserved historic. However you should be always cautious ⚠️ I the area, But improving the safety, but it can be trickier, as majority are low middle class. Also there's a heavy traffic jam in the area. Most roads are shut, controlled zones. This Spurs football is there....... The Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs). And The goal is to reduce traffic, improve air quality, and make streets safer for pedestrians and cyclists That why, you should allow more time for your journey in rush hours.

Come check out the 450-year-old oak tree 🌳 at my local park. Bruce Castle Park is awesome, and Haringey Council does a great job keeping it up. There's a tennis court and a basketball court there. It's a great park overall, and I've been going there since 2011.
