A beautiful setting with lovely volunteers. A very underrated site. No entry fee.

This is an English Heritage site. Entry is free. Car Parking £2.00. It is a quiet and tranquil location, ideal as a picnic site. The volunteers are friendly and informative. There is even a small second hand bookshop to help fund and maintain the site.

Buildwas Abbey was very peaceful, and had a calming atmosphere. When we were there we had the place to ourselves. The site is managed by English Heritage. There is no fee to enter, you just have to pay 2 pounds for parking.

Beautiful ruins of long lost abbey. Didn't pay for the entrance because the information office was already closed upon arrival, so I am not sure if you have to pay here anything. There is plenty to discover and few lovely picnic spots. And good news for the dog owners it's a dog friendly place.
