Beautiful old woodland. Lots of Bluebells and other wildflowers dotted throughout. Birds twittering away up in the trees, squirrel's leaping from branch to branch. Absolutely bliss to bathe in nature for a couple of hours. A credit to good people at Notts Wildlife artist for managing this ancient woodland. 🌳🐿️🌸🐦

Quiet, small walk through some lovely, nature filled woods with the option to extend and head on some paths out of the woods. We did the woodland loop, which was just shy of 2 miles. Absolutely perfect way to end a sunny Saturday morning. One small hill, ever so slightly overgrown in parts, so trousers if you're not overly nimble to navigate through. Enough spaces for a few cars at the entrance.

Lovely peaceful woods. Our 4 year old loved exploring them. Paths well maintained except for the top path which was overgrown in places.

Road side parking for a limited number of vehicles. Tranquil setting, apart from some traffic noise. Beautiful woodland flowers and plenty of bird song as you take in the surroundings. Mainly hard paths, albeit a little undulating in parts. Enjoyed our walk. Would re-visit.
