An excellent park for relaxing; you can bring your own food, drinks, and music. It’s great whether you go alone or with others. They close very late—or perhaps don't close at all; the last time I was there, we left at 11:00 PM.

Nice park to take you away from the busy main road outside. Plenty of greenery if you fancy a picnic and nice big lake full of fish as well,watched a bird trying to swallow a fish bigger than its beak earlier..very entertaining. My one complaint,to many electric bikes racing through the park..only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Great space! Lots to do and see with kids. Fishing lake was great (if you ignore the Coot eating the Carp!). Really cool play parks - bring scooters/bikes/boards for kids as they have hilly race tracks included. Nice cafe for snacks after. The outdoor gym here is one of the best ive ever seen too!!

Spent the afternoon playing tennis at Burgess Park, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made this week. The courts are set against a backdrop of open greenery, and with the sun out, the whole space had a really clean, refreshing vibe. The blue surface of the court contrasts beautifully with the surrounding park — it almost feels like you’re playing in a postcard. After a good match, I walked over to a nearby coffee shop just off the park. It’s a small, quiet spot with outdoor seating, perfect for cooling down. I grabbed an iced latte and sat back, watching the late afternoon settle in. Between the match, the scenery, and the coffee, it was the perfect mix of activity and downtime. It’s wheelchair friendly!
